What's inside

The warmth: iron powder, activated carbon, mineral salt and water, sealed in a soft non-woven fabric. When air reaches the iron it warms, slowly and evenly.

The care: marigold-derived lutein. Nothing else: no fragrance, no preservatives.

Is it right for me?

Cozie is made for dry, tired, screen-strained eyes: long days at a laptop, contact-lens days, flights and late nights.

Take contact lenses out first. Do not use on broken or irritated skin, with an eye infection, or soon after eye surgery. If your eyes hurt rather than feel tired, see an eye doctor.

A tired eye with three close-ups: blocked oil glands along the lashes, the tear film breaking up, and a red lower lid

Why it happens

It's not just tired eyes. Something's blocked.

Along the edge of each eyelid sit dozens of tiny glands. Their oil keeps your tears from drying out. When that oil thickens, three things happen:

  1. Blocked oil glands

The oil turns thick and waxy and plugs the tiny openings along your lashes.

  2. Tears dry out

Without that oil on top, the tear film breaks up and evaporates in seconds.

  3. Irritated lids

The lid edge can turn red, puffy and heavy, especially by evening.

Warmth can soften that thickened oil. But only if it stays warm long enough.

What it feels like

You feel it before you see it.

  1. Gritty and burning

Like sand in your eyes, worst after contacts or a long day.

  2. Heavy by evening

Your lids feel heavy and you keep rubbing them, often at the same time every day.

  3. Blurry at screens

Words swim on the screen and you blink to clear them, especially at night.

What you've tried

The warm-up that keeps going cold.

  1. The washcloth

Cold before you've closed your eyes.

A few minutes and it's room temperature. You're up, back at the sink, doing it again.

  2. The microwave mask

Hot in one spot, cold in another.

And a walk to the kitchen every time you want it warm again.

  3. Eye drops

    Soothing, for a minute.

They wet the surface. They don't bring any warmth to your eyelids.

The problem? Thickened oil needs several minutes of steady warmth to soften. A washcloth is cold before that, a microwave mask cools unevenly, and drops bring no warmth at all.

Luckily, there's a warm compress that stays warm.

It starts warming the minute you open it.

Meet Cozie

Warmth that helps the oil flow again.

Cozie is a thin, single-use eye compress that warms itself the moment you open it. It holds a steady, moist 104–108°F against your lids for up to 30 minutes, long enough to help soften thickened oil so it can flow again.

  • Warms itself in about a minute
  • Steady, moist warmth for up to 30 minutes
  • Nothing to heat, charge or re-wet
  • Lutein-infused and unscented
  • Soft, hypoallergenic fabric
  • Sealed one by one: ready at home or away

The thermometer test

5 minutes against 30.

A warm washcloth is cold before you've settled. Cozie holds its warmth for the whole half hour.

Cozie against Warm washcloth over 30 minutes: Warm washcloth, Cold in 5 min; Cozie, Still warm at 30 min.

Method: 3 masks and one folded washcloth. Thermometer on the lid, read every minute for thirty minutes, room at 21 °C.

Your first warm evening is a minute away.

The ritual

Tear, wear, lie back, bin it.

Up to thirty minutes, hands-free, and nothing to clean up after.

  1. Tear the sachet

Iron powder meets the air and the warming starts. Nothing to plug in.

  2. Loop it over your ears

It stays put if you turn your head or doze off.

  3. Thirty warm minutes

Lie back. You never get up to re-wet it. That is the whole point.

  4. Bin it

Nothing to wash, wring out or remember to charge.

Everything your eyes would ask

Questions, answered.

How soon will I feel a difference?

The warmth is there from the first minute of the first mask. Most people use one in the evening, when their eyes feel most tired.

Is it right for my eyes?

Cozie is a comforting warm compress for tired, dry-feeling eyes. If you have an eye condition, have had eye surgery recently, or your eyes are red, painful or infected, check with your eye doctor before using it.

Can I use it with contact lenses?

Take your contacts out first, then put them back in once you are done.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

The side that rests on your skin is a hypoallergenic non-woven fabric, and the compress is unscented. Do not use it on broken or irritated skin.

Can I reuse a mask?

No. Each mask is single-use: it warms once, for up to 30 minutes. When it cools, bin it and open a fresh one the next evening.

Can I travel with it?

Yes. Every mask is sealed in its own sachet, so a few fit in a handbag or a carry-on, and there is nothing to charge or heat.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Every Cozie heats, or we replace the box. And if it simply isn't for you, tell us within 30 days of delivery: your first box is refunded, and there's nothing to send back.

How long does delivery take?

Orders leave our warehouse within 1–5 business days and usually arrive 7–14 business days after that. We ship to the United States, France, Belgium, Germany, Australia and Canada, and every order comes with tracking.
